Description
This is the first wine of the new project of Albert Jan (Acústic) in its birthplace, Montmell. At Mas Vilella, he makes white and red wines from local grapes.
Vinification
Part of the wine is made in stainless steel tanks, but most of it goes into large amphoras.
Tasting analysis
Floral and spicy on the nose (almond, Mediterranean herbs) A robust win eon the palate, a little touch of alcohol which mingles into the structure.
A good acidity gives the wine its backbone. Long finish. Very Mediterranean in its character.
Storage potential
2 to 3 years.
Serving
Serve chilled (around 10°C) in a large Burgundy glass.
