Description
Made with old Grenache vines, here is one of Spain's best fortified wines.
Vinification
Grapes are left to dry out on the plant.
Maceration and fermentation take place in oak barrels.The fermentation is stopped by adding alcohol (1%), hence the residual sugar content (84g).
Tasting analysis
Deep colour. Fresh herbs and black fruit on the nose; very good balance between alcohol and fruit on the palate. Juicy black berries in the finish.
Storage potential
To be drunk now, till 2025.
Serving
May be served slightly cooled.
