Description
This is the little brother of Come Blanca - but the father is different ans Coma Alta is more of an easy-to-drink wine.
Before 2012, the main grape was Viognier; now it is Grenache Blanc.
Coma Alta means high valley.
Vinification
30% of the wine is aged for 6 months in 500 litre French oak barrels, on its lees.
Tasting analysis
On the nose, spicy, fruity and floral, with a hint of oak.
On the palate, large, full-bodied and juicy. All the southern character of the White Grenache.
This solid wine will be a perfect companion for hard cheeses and white meats.
