The 2017 Trispol is from a much warmer and earlier harvest, and despite that, the wine feels fresher and has better integrated oak. It's quite pure and clean, with bright berry aromas, elegant and balanced. The palate is harmonious and has very tasty flavors, fine tannins and an almost salty finish. This is more elegant and more refined than the 2016 I tasted next to it. It feels more precise and vertical: they extracted less and did a softer vinification.
