The single-vineyard 2023 Mas de la Rosa is very impressive, cropped from vines planted in 1900 at 600 meters above sea level on steep slopes, from a vineyard that has achieved the official classification of "Gran Vino de Viña Clasificada," the top of the Priorat categories. It's pure Cariñena that fermented destemmed in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts and matured in concrete eggs and Austrian oak foudres for 10 months. Like most of its siblings, it's a ripe wine with balance in an XL way, with 15.5% alcohol and a 3.5 pH.

Aromas of blackberries, plums, violets, graphite, spices and dried herbs. The palate is full-bodied with firm yet refined tannins and bright acidity, giving depth and structure to the dark fruit flavors. Long and minerally with a savory finish. Made from 100-year-old carignan vines grown at 500 meters above sea level.
