R. Parker (98+/100)
When I tasted the 2023 Nit de Nin Mas d’en Caçador, it was more austere, closed and less expressive than the La Coma d'en Romeu, but they told me two weeks ago it was the other way around! But the wine is elegant and austere, floral and nuanced, very subtle, insinuating and really captivating. The palate is very balanced, seamless and powerful with very fine tannins and stunning balance. It fermented with 100% full clusters, a constant in all their single-vineyard wines from old vines. They bought the vineyard in 2023, and the wine is a blend of 51% Garnacha, 31% Cariñena, 15% Garnacha Peluda and 3% white varieties. 2,640 bottles produced.
