There is also a rosé, the 2011 Argent Rose Gran Reserva Brut Nature, following the line of the white Argent, but produced exclusively with Pinot Noir grapes. After studying in Dijon, Jaume Gramona got hooked on the Burgundian varieties and he set up to produce some wines with them. It matured for 36 month in the bottle before being disgorged and no dosage was added. This is really a Blanc de Noir and people expecting a rosé will be disappointed. It feels somehow fresher than the white Argent and with better-integrated acidity and bubbles. The aromas are a mixture of white fruit and bakery notes and the palate is quite vertical, fresh and pure. 15,000 bottles produced.
