This 2022 vintage is made from a selection of old vines, mainly Viura, sourced primarily from high-altitude vineyards in Rioja, between 600 and 670 metres.
This is old-school white Rioja: juicy, long and elegant, with an almost saline sensation on the nose and, above all, those intense, lightly oxidative notes that guarantee excellent ageing potential.
This style is mainly the result of almost four years of ageing in 500-litre French oak barrels. Fermentation also takes place in new French oak.
Production is limited to 1,000 bottles, with only around 100 allocated to Belgium.
I cannot even remember the last time this wine arrived here. This is therefore a unique opportunity to add this beautiful and original old-school white wine to your cellar.
