Product info

This Reserva seems like a Gran Reserva. The Roda I is a selection of grapes from vines which are at least 30 years old.

Vinification
Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, half of which were new.

Storage potential
13 years.

To serve
At cellar temperature. Decant in the first 6 years.

Trial analysis
A powerful tempranillo with a great ageing potential. A real treat.
Deep red colour, with reflections of a young wine.
Expressive on the nose, typical of a tempranillo: ripe, black fruit, leather, coffee, tannins, with an austere touch.
This complexity also shows on the palate. A solid, full-bodied, well-structured and well-balanced wine, with a very long finish.

Wine estate

Roda is one of the star estates in the Rioja; it embodies the renaissance of this famous wine region.
