Enric Soler is still a rather unknown name in our range. There is a simple explanation for that: in a normal year we receive only very small quantities from this winery.
These bottles were therefore mainly allocated to the best gastronomic restaurants in Belgium. This meant that until 2020 we sold the NUN only by reservation and had no bottles in stock outside those gastronomic allocations.
Meanwhile, for about twelve years now we have also received small quantities of his
other Grand Cru,
Espenyalluchs, as well as their
second wine, the
Improvisació, which also offers a
fantastic price-quality ratio.
The wines of Enric Soler are among the highest-scoring white wines in Spain, together with those of Rafael Palacios from Valdeorras.
These are true white wines for ageing (we have tasted it ourselves!), capable of competing with the great white Burgundies.
Moreover, Enric works entirely biodynamically. This gives the wines a gastronomic profile, with elegant minerality and strong ageing potential.
The 2024 vintage arrived last week!
For several years now he has also produced two other top crus alongside NUN.
Espenyalluchs, just like NUN, is a cru made from 100% Xarel.lo, located on a stony slope of just under one hectare. The vines are younger than those of NUN, but the style clearly goes in the same direction.
And of course the
Improvisació, made from several neighbouring parcels of
Xarel.lo and vinified in
Stockinger foudres and concrete eggs. 
There is also another wine, made from
Xarel.lo and
Malvasia de Sitges, the
Istiu. This one is already

I recently tasted them all at the estate together with Enric, and can only confirm that 2024 is truly an outstanding vintage! Perfect balance, controlled power and acidity in superb harmony.
There is however one problem: 2024 was an extremely small vintage in terms of quantity. We have never had so few bottles available.
After the reservations are deducted, very few bottles remain.
