Jable de Tao is a young project on Lanzarote, built around its own vineyards and a network of local winegrowers. The estate owns 16 hectares of vineyards and also works with winegrowers across approximately 30 hectares on the island. The winery is located beneath Hotel César.
The first vintage was vinified in 2022. Average production amounts to approximately 18,000 bottles per year. In the particularly productive 2023 vintage, this exceptionally rose to almost 30,000 bottles. Around 60% of the wines remain on Lanzarote itself, an island where local demand is particularly strong due to tourism. This partly explains why wines from Lanzarote are rarely seen on export markets.
