There is no doubt about the 2021 vintage. Just like in Rioja, Ribera del Duero and Bierzo, 2021 was an outstanding year for Toro.
A structured Pintia built for long ageing!
Moreover, it received the highest score ever for this wine: 95+/100. Without a doubt, this is one of the finest Pintias ever produced…
Until now, only the 2018 vintage reached the same 95+/100 score. For me, the 2021 shows perfect balance and offers excellent ageing potential.

I must admit that I am usually not a big fan of Pintia in its youth, as I often find it too firm and expressive. But after the excellent 2020, this 2021 has fully convinced me as well, even at a young age…
