Sadie, the absolute top of South Africa.
Secure the last bottles now – pre-sale open!
Eben Sadie was the co-founder of Terroir al Límit in Priorat. That’s how we first got to know him. In barely 15 years, he has reached true
cult status with his wines.
Both with his limited signature wines – the red Columella and the white Palladius – and with his Ouwe Wingerds, made from some of the oldest vines in South Africa.
This year, there are
2 new wines: “
Twiswind” (white) and “
Sonvang” (red).
In 2021, Columella was the only South African wine to receive a 100/100 score from the country’s most renowned wine critic. Since then, the hype has only intensified. Everyone wanted a bottle of this signature wine!
We are now offering these wines in pre-sale. Once paid, your reservation is guaranteed, and you’ll receive your wines between October and November 2025.
Just like last year, I visited Eben this Easter holiday in South Africa and had the chance to taste all the new vintages!
Attached you'll find “Eben’s notes” on the 2025 release. One thing stood out for me across the entire range: pure elegance!
And if I may give you one tip: two absolute standouts this year – coincidentally both whites – are
Palladius 2023 and
Mevr. Kirsten 2024: mind blowing! Also
Rotsbank 2024 left a huge impression on me.
Among the reds – besides the fantastic
Columella (a must-have in your cellar) –
the
Treinspoor and the new
Sonvang clearly stood out as well.
Moreover, by buying in pre-sale, you enjoy a significant price advantage.
Don’t miss out!
New this year: Twiswind (white) and Sonvang (red)
Two very unique additions to Sadie’s line-up: both made from 12 different grape varieties planted on his best terroirs.
Complexity and character at the highest level!
Important!
- 2024 was a low-yield year, so our allocation is smaller than last year.
Don’t wait too long; quantities are very limited!
- If a wine is sold out and you want to be sure to get your bottles next year, place your reservation now on our website under “reservations”.
- We kindly ask not to resell these wines immediately at auctions.
South African prices have skyrocketed this year, going up to x3 or even x7 for the white wines and Columella.
Selling prices have slightly increased, but if auction prices continue to spiral, he’ll be forced to raise prices further – and that’s something we’d all like to avoid!
