This Viñas Elías Mora is no doubt our top-selling red under €15. Made from 100% Tinta de Toro, the more powerful local version of Spain’s famous Tempranillo grape,
this wine is a true charmer.
That subtle feminine touch is clearly present too:
Victoria Benavides, owner and oenologist, knows exactly how to tame this robust, slightly wild Tinta de Toro into a
smooth, easy-drinking red wine. Supple tannins, ripe fruit,
juiciness and length – those are the hallmarks of her craftsmanship.
Moreover, the 2022 is beautifully ripe and can even be enjoyed lightly chilled in summer. Just perfect!
