Rafael's wine adventure all started with this As Sortes. He wanted to produce one wine, and that's all.
And no doubt this wine is at the top of the Valdeorras wines, and white Spanish wines also.
"As Sortes" is an old Galician administrative term which refers to a lottery system supposed to avoid too much division of hearted lands. Warning : very limited quantities are available on the Belgian market!

Traditional winemaking. 6 months of ageing in big oak vats.

Trial analysis
As Sortes shows the kind of complexity only old vines can bring. And minerality, from start to finish. Some wood notes can be noticed but they are never overwhelming.
This great white has a very large aromatic spectrum that develops with air.
In a nutshell, As Sortes is a world class wine, fit for many a good (g)astronomic match.
