The new Acústic 2022 has just arrived with us, yet it has already won over many hearts worldwide. The first vintage dates back to 2004; a major step for Albert Jané, the owner. It was the first year he decided to leave the family estate “Jané Ventura” to follow his own path.

More than 20 years later, his small project has truly come of age. It all started in a small garage in Els Guiamets, in the Montsant region. Albert did everything himself.

All that mattered to him were beautiful old vineyards of Carinyena and Garnatxa. And he has certainly found them.

No one owns more old vines in the region than Albert.

This Acústic is therefore the original blend, mainly Carinyena with a minority of Garnatxa. Usually, it is the other way around. Albert, however, succeeds in turning the often rustic Carinyena grape into a true winner, packed with red and black fruit.

As the name suggests, Albert aims for an “acoustic” experience: no complicated terms or elaborate descriptions; this is straightforward, pure grapes in a bottle.

Bold, as one would expect from this region. And always perfect with a fine piece of meat. R.Parker clearly agrees, calling it a wine that “Calls for food”!

"The red blend 2022 Acústic was produced with 73% Cariñena and 27% Garnacha fermented in stainless steel and matured in barrels and foudres for seven months. It's ripe and heady—it hits the scale at 15% alcohol—and comes through as powerful and big, with a straightforward, fruit-driven nose with notes of ripe berries and an earthy touch, fine, abundant tannins and a dry, slightly astringent finish that calls for food."
