Wines from Taganana,
Tenerife’s most impressive wine village
Tenerife is the favorite holiday destination for many of our clients. And although most are also great wine lovers, it is often not known that in the far North, inside the Anaga Natural Park, lie some truly impressive vineyards.
No, these are not ordinary vineyards, but old gnarled vines on steep slopes overlooking the sea. At almost 1000 m altitude!

Since 2012, the four friends of Envínate have been making great wines here. Each year, we receive only a small allocation. Their wines have since become highly sought after by connoisseurs.
They work in a completely non-interventionist way, achieving a natural expression of the volcanic soils.
Every vintage also receives top scores from Luis Gutiérrez for R. Parker. What they produce is unique – and still very affordable.
In the small village of Taganana, they make both white and red
The white Táganan, which is much rarer and also more expensive, is a field blend of Listán blanco, Marmajuelo, Gual, Forastero, Vijariego…
The most recently rated vintage (2023) received an excellent 95+/100.
And the description is exactly what I love so much in white wine:
"It's vibrant and sharp, clean, light to medium-bodied,
with purity and symmetry.
This wine is going from strength to strength."
