Ribera del Duero takes the top spot
During our spring tasting, it was already the Tempranillo-based wines that stole the show. This time is no different!
No surprise then that this grape variety once again shines.
From the entry-level wines to the very best bottles, Tempranillo clearly wins hearts.
The best-selling wine in number of bottles was the Crianza 2022 from our great classic Viña Pedrosa.
But what pleased me even more was the second best-selling wine — one I had already recommended in our mailing of 28 August. It’s the entry-level wine from top estate Dominio de Calogía: Doble M 2021.
I love that our clients confirmed my mailing and truly appreciated this Doble M from Calogía. Many tasters told me it was their favourite wine — and especially that it offered remarkable value for money.
