The entry-level white 2024 El Castro de Valtuille Godello is varietal, clean and balsamic. It's a blend from three plots in the village of Valtuille on clay soils with different percentages of sand, rocks and quartzite. It fermented and matured in larger and smaller barrels for around one year. It's from a cooler year, with good ripeness and development of flavors and aromas, and the grapes kept the acidity. It has 13.13% alcohol, a low pH of 3.06 and 6.71 grams of acidity, coming through as fresh and vibrant, with a salty finish. It's a bargain.
