Ce sont les dernières notes hallucinantes pour Nin i Ortiz du Priorat !
Belle surprise : alors que Johan était justement au domaine la semaine dernière, les topscores de Nin i Ortiz chez Parker sont tombés.
Et voilà que la visite s’est transformée en vraie fête… 😊
Il y a deux ans, leur
Mas d’en Caçador 2020 avait obtenu la
note parfaite de 100/100 !
Le 2022 confirme désormais son statut de légende avec un quasi-parfait 99/100.
La plus rare des trois, c’est
‘La Rodeda’, avec une production de seulement
380 bouteilles – et elle décroche aussi la note exceptionnelle de
98/100.
Le Coma d’en Romeu 2022, noté 97/100, nous a lui aussi laissé une très forte impression.

Coma d’en Romeu 2022: 97/100
The 2022 La Coma d’en Romeu has the classical nose from the vineyard, a combination of ripe peach, aromatic herbs, a touch of smoky bacon, ink and licorice, intoxicating and characterful. The wine has a very strong personality and is very different from the rest, the wild character of the place. It has a medium to full-bodied palate with abundant, slightly dusty tannins. It comes in at 14.07% alcohol, a pH of 3.4 and 4.27 grams of acidity. 2,400 bottles were filled in April 2024.
La Rodeda 2022: 98/100
The 2022 La Rodeda, a very steep and stony vineyard, which, like the others, is being expanded with new vines to extend its life and also to protect the old vines. They work with this wine to fine-tune the barrel they use, and in the end, they settled with a 300-liter barrel, quite well-seasoned and more neutral, which respects more of the character of the wine. This is a cooler place, and the wine also shows fresher and has more acidity; it's also Garnacha Peluda, which has a different tannin profile. The wine has power and concentration, but the sensation is very balanced, vibrant and very tasty. I think this vintage is getting closer to the true character of the place. For me, this is the finest vintage of this wine so far. Only 380 bottles were filled in April 2024.
Mas d’en Caçador 2022: 99/100
I found the 2022 Nit de Nin Mas d’en Caçador to be very closed and austere, a little shy, serious and harmonious. The palate is very solid, seamless and powerful with really refined and elegant tannins. It was produced with a blend of 66% Garnacha, 31% Cariñena and 3% white varieties. As much as I liked the 2021, I think 2022 is a more complete and serious wine. It's still young and undeveloped and should be long lived. 2,800 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2024.
Voilà plus de 20 ans qu’ils travaillent ensemble sur leurs coteaux abrupts de schiste à Porrera (Priorat), en biodynamie complète depuis le début.
À l’aide de deux mulets, ils cultivent tous leurs vieux ceps de Garnatxa et de Carinyena.
Un travail de titan ! Ils œuvrent avec un immense respect pour leur terroir et leur environnement.
Leurs vins figurent ainsi parmi les mieux notés de toute l’Espagne !
2022 fut une année chaude au Priorat, et pourtant les vins restent des modèles d’élégance et de finesse. Ce qui a été produit représente tout simplement ce que le Priorat – et l’Espagne – ont de plus grand à offrir.
