Jarrarte is the second wine, alongside the white single-varietal wines Viura and Malvasía, which are produced in very limited volumes (approximately 1,200 bottles per variety). The total production of Jarrarte is around 4,000 bottles.
Jarrarte means “between the stones” in Basque, a reference to the poor soils in which the vines are planted.

Trial analysis
A surprisingly fresh style for Rioja. All too often, white Rioja shows too much oak. Delicately aromatic, with a subtle veil of Malvasía, floral notes and a fresh, fruity entry on the palate, followed by hints of anise and ripe white fruit.
Not a powerhouse in the classic white Rioja style. Rather summery and lively, with a discreet southern touch. Above all, a wine marked by a fresh backbone running through its gentle roundness.
