North-east of Zaragoza, Campo de Borja is in two parts: the Ebro Valley and the Iberian Mountains, especially the flanks of the Moncayo, Aragon's most famous mountain at 2,314 m and the highest of the massif.
The wines fcoming rom the valley are warmer and more sensual, the wines from the mountain are more structured and complex.
Here too, Grenache is the main grape in red and Macabeo is the main grape in white.
The vineyards on the flanks of the Moncayo are planted on shales or limestone rocks. The benefit from cool winds descending from the mountain.

This wine is a blend of a very old Grenache vine and some cabernet sauvignon coming from a higher altitude bloc on the sides of Mount Moncay. Hand picked.
