James Suckling (93/100)
This wine shows aromas of ripe fruit, dark cherries and some grilled herbs. Good-quality tannins. Firm, fine-grained and tight, with a medium to full body and a long, tightly wound finish. A structured Ribera del Duero that’s not overdone. Drink from 2026.

Tasted along with the 2021, the 2022 Corimbo was produced with Tinto Fino from vines between 25 and 30 years of age, from small plots in La Horra, Roa and other villages around them but from a much warmer and drier year. It fermented in stainless steel vats and matured for 14 months in oak barrels, 80% French and 20% American. It has notes of ripe berry fruit, aromatic herbs and a spicy twist. It comes in at 14.5% alcohol, with a pH of 3.66 and 5.3 grams of acidity and has abundant, slightly dusty tannins.
