2010 was the second vintage of this cuvée - and a very good vintage, again.
The name of Corimbo is a token of rarity in itself, since it is a rare kind of thistle.
Vinification
Aged for 14 months in French (80%) and American oak barrels, 1/3 of which are new.
Production: 20,000 bottles.
Storage potential
12 years.
To serve
18°C in a large glass, after decanting, at least in the first years.
Trial analysis
Deep red colour. Owing to its density, the wine should get some air.
Then, it will reveal nice young aromas (blackberries, spices), but not a hint of wood. A juicy, impressively potent wine on the palate.
Full-bodied like a Ribera, but with the Roda trademark.
