Palo Blanco is made with the gapes of centenary vines planted on the black volcanic soils of Palo Blanco in the Orotava Valley, in the north-east of Tenerife. This area is quite wet in spite of the altitude (600m) and the vines are conducted in the Cordon Trenzado method so as to enhance the air circulation.
