This is the entry level wine at Bodegas Reyes. Tamiz (screen, or sieve), the name of the vineyard is said to come from the fact that the limestone soils act like a sieve in times of rain.
The yield is very low (22 hectolitres per hectare).
Vinification
7 months in American oak barrels.
Storage potential
5 years.
To serve
18°C in a large glass.
Trial analysis
Deep ruby colour.
Exuberant fruit notes (plum), as well as liquorice and and cedar notes.
This fruity Tempranillo is also very full bodied and structured on the palate.
Some hints of wood; a discreet acidity. A super quality-price relation!
