Quincha Corral comes from Finca Terrerazo, located at an altitude of 800 metres. The soil consists of dolomitic limestone with a chalky, sandy texture. The vines were planted en gobelet in 1919 and 1940, and the vineyard is not irrigated. Farming is fully organic, with the use of cover crops between the rows.
Vinification
This wine is only produced in exceptional vintages. The grapes are personally selected and hand-harvested by Toni. They are destemmed and gently crushed. Vinification takes place in French oak barrels of 225L, 500L, and 3,500L. Maceration lasts approximately 12 to 15 days, with manual punch-downs. After vinification, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and is aged for 48 months in French oak barrels of the same volumes: 225L, 500L, and 3,500L.

Trial analysis
Very dark colour. What a dense wine!
Ripe red fuit on the nose; soft, smooth tannins on the palate; a subtle touch of acidity as backbone.
A magic refined finish.
Give this lord of a wine some time to open in the glass.
