Ribera del Duero and Mallorca
come out on top
Tempranillo and Callet as best-selling wines
at our Spring Tasting

Viña Pedrosa
We already knew that Tempranillo is very popular among wine lovers, but to our surprise, our friends from Mallorca came in a strong second place this time! And that makes us very happy, of course!
The best-selling wine in number of bottles was the fantastic entry-level wine from our classic Viña Pedrosa, the Cepa Gavilán crianza 2023.
No surprise there, as this is one of our best value wines from Ribera del Duero, consistently juicy and highly appealing.

Ànima Negra
But for us, the real surprise is the number 2, with only about 6 bottles less sold than the Cepa Gavilán: the ÀN/2 2023 from Ànima Negra.
The 2023 vintage is, in our view, one of the best we have ever had. An original blend of 85% typical Mallorcan grapes (Callet, Fogoneu, Mantonegro) and 15% Syrah.
Very Mediterranean in style, yet with plenty of freshness and character. Already very approachable!
It was the first time that Laura, the oenologist of Ànima Negra, joined us.
Of course together with veteran Miquelàngel, who has been joining us at tastings for over 20 years.
Make this your red wine for spring and take a little trip to Mallorca!
Would you like to taste these 2 successful wines again?
