There is something savory on the nose of the 2022 Sòtil that makes it attractive and intriguing. Here, they look for subtleness, lightness, elegance, a more ethereal red produced with Callet. It had a very light vinification and careful élevage, and it has moderate ripeness, at 12.5% alcohol, and fine-grained, chalky tannins. It matured in a 2,500-liter oak foudre, yet the wine doesn't have any oak (and the foudre was new that year...) Bravo! 3,000 bottles were filled in June 2023.

A pure and expressive nose with grilled grapefruit, herbs, pomegranate, red cherries and chalk. Very fresh and bright with chalky tannins and a crunchy, fruit-expressive finish. This shows lovely vibrancy, exuberance and drinkability.
