This is one of the estate’s more recent wines – their flagship Garnatxa. It comes from a 3.5 ha plot with clay- and limestone-rich soils. The vines average 50 years of age, and yields are remarkably low at around 800 kg/ha!
Vinification
Non-interventionist winemaking. Everything is biodynamic. Only native yeasts are used. Most of the grapes ferment as whole clusters, without destemming. Aged for two years in very old French oak barrels. Neither fined nor filtered.

Trial analysis
Very light red colour – a hallmark of an elegant Garnatxa. On the nose and palate, plenty of red berries and dried flowers, complemented by a Mediterranean earthy note. This wine clearly reflects their style and vision of élevage. Fine tannins despite the whole-cluster fermentation, full-bodied and with a very long finish. A great Garnatxa of the complex kind.
