Istiu is Enric Soler's latest creation. For the first time a coupage wine, of very limited production, that shows Enric's creative and non-conformist character. Sourced from a 0.2ha plot with a subsoil of sand, loam and clay. The vines are respectively 42 (Xarel.lo) and 13 years old (Malvasia de Sitges). The vineyard is worked in biodynamics like all the other plots. A wine that shows the affinity between Xarel-lo and Malvasía de Sitges.

Trial analysis
2018 was a year with perfect preparation: plenty of rain and a dry summer. It was harvested in September with a nice perception of acidity in mind above all. This is therefore an atypical vintage with a fresh character instead of ripe Mediterranean and with limited alcohol. Complex nose combining ripe white fruit with undertones of citrus, balsamic and light toast. A refreshing, immediate attack that develops on the palate, juicy with a long and salty finish.
