The Imperial cuvée is the entry level wine of the vintage Cavas, at Gramona.
Grandfather Gramona likes its "Champagne-style" packaging, so it won't change. Easy to recognize.
Vinification
Second fermentation in the bottle (traditional method), 36 months sur lattes, dosage of 8g/l.
Storage potential
8 years.
To serve
Serve at 10°C in a large flute-glass.
Trial analysis
This very lively and fresh Cava shows a good balance between fruit and acidity.
It is even juicy and fat on the palate, with hints of nuts and no trace whatsoever of the dosage.
