A textbook example of the category, the 2021 Viña Pedrosa Crianza shows riper fruit, darker than the El Pedrosal Crianza but also more complexity and depth. It has similar parameters, with 14.5% alcohol and a pH of 3.44, reflecting the freshness of the year. It has berry fruit, herbs and flowers with peppery and spicy notes. The palate is medium-bodied and the tannins fine and elegant. It should age nicely in bottle.

Excellent balance here with well-judged oak spices to the blue and black berries. Cocoa powder, hazelnut, iodine and stones. The juicy berries and bright acidity on the palate renders energy and vibrancy.
