This is without a doubt the most powerful white Spanish wine in our range. A true flavour bomb, full of character and individuality.
From the very beginning, the estate has placed great importance on crafting a top-tier white wine – and they have succeeded brilliantly.
Total production ranges between 1,500 and 3,000 bottles, depending on the vintage. It is clear that this level of quality is the result of vieilles vignes and the extremely low yields from these vineyards.
This Spanish wine is not vinified every year.
Vinification
The old macabeu from Lo Corralot, now over 80 years old, is blended (50% of the total) with old macabeu from El Sas. Both parcels are vinified separately. The final wine ferments for 9 months in 500-litre barriques, a small portion of which are new oak. The remaining wine is vinified in stainless steel tanks.
Minimum bottle ageing of 24 months after bottling.

Trial analysis
Deep in colour. The nose is highly complex, with fine green herbs and fennel, layered with patisserie notes and floral hints of almond blossom, complemented by a toasty touch from the oak. A nose full of character. On the palate, an explosion of flavours: white stone fruit, spice, and great volume, with a distinctly Mediterranean signature. The alcohol is perfectly integrated, as in truly great wines. Very long finish.
