From the El Tamboril vineyard (only 0.2 ha!), both a white and a red grand cru are bottled.
This is their highest vineyard, located at 1,200 metres above sea level. The soil consists of granite and quartz, and the average age of the vines is 60 years.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and pressed as whole bunches to obtain a very fine juice.
Vinification takes place in 600L barrels, without any correction, and only a minimal amount of sulphites is added at bottling.

Trial analysis
Aromatically, we find complex notes of white stone fruit, pear, yellow flowers and a hint of toast.
On the palate, it is very well balanced, with a surprising acidity for Grenache Blanc/Gris and an impressive length.
A much more slender wine than one would expect.
