As Penas is the white single-vineyard wine from Adega A Barouta in Ribeiro. It comes from an old vineyard in the Val do Avia, planted on granite soils. The mixed planting is dominated by Treixadura, complemented by Albariño, Caíño Blanco, Loureiro, Agudelo and other local varieties. Treixadura forms the backbone of the wine, while Albariño brings extra acidity and energy. A white Ribeiro with plenty of tension, minerality and a clearly Atlantic character. It is also made to develop well in bottle.

Belat (100%)
2012
This is a very peculiar project of the Albet i Noya family. The first vintage was 2007. The production is very limited (600 bottles). The wine is made with old varieties, virtually forgotten. The name, Belat, is the anagram of Albet. One of Catalogne's most interesting grape-revival projet
Chardonnay (50%), Parellada (50%)
Probably the best Cava of this house and one of the best of Spain. Mainly Chardonnay with a little Parellada. This cuvée was first vinified in 1999, at the dawn of the 21st century, hence the name Reserva 21. Pure class!

2022
Special version of the fantastic "Efecte". Beware! This is not a "cava". Josep-Maria Albet i Noya, during his presidency of the D.O. Penedès, created a separate appellation of origin for the sparkling wines, outside the D.O. CAVA which he felt was too much under the influence of the big mastodons; Only grapes from organic vineyards are allowed. Indeed, Josep-Maria is the pioneer of organic wines across Spain. It is therefore for more than 25 years that his bubbles were chosen by the Roca brothers of the restaurant of the same name as their house aperitif. Especially for us, we were also allowed to import this house aperitif with the label of this top restaurant (2x best restaurant in the world) in Belgium. The Roca brothers make their own coupage every year on the estate, which is then bottled with their label. Top price/quality!
Xarel.lo (100%)
2013
2009 is the first vintage. El Fanio is a plot of Xarel·lo vines over 60 years old, located at 350 metres altitude and part of the Finca Can Milà. Very calcareous soils, farmed biodynamically since 2006. Fanio is the name of the man who planted the vineyards.
Macabeu (40%), Xarel.lo (40%), Chardonnay (20%)
This is the entry level wine of the Albet family - which gives a good idea of the exceptional quality of the rest of their range! This wine will convince the wine-lover with its roundness and its spicines.
Garnatxa (60%), Merlot (40%)
The red wine range has grown a lot with the years at Albet i Noia. La Minela, the first vintage of which was produced in 2005, pays tribute to the wife of Mr Milan, the ex-owner of the finca - Madam was the one in charge.
Chardonnay (35%), Xarel.lo (35%), Sauvignon blanc (30%)
The proof of Albet i Noya's technical know-how. The barrel-fermented Chardonnay brings roundness, the sauvignon brings its acidity and minerality, the local Xarello adds a hint of freshness. This gastronomy wine is closed under screw cap since 2009.
Garnatxa (40%), Cabernet Sauvignon (30%), Merlot (30%)
Harmonious blend of local grapes like Grenache and Tempranillo, and French grapes like Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The grapes come from upper-slope blocks of vines in the dry section of Penedès. Lignum means wood or barrel in latin.
Cabernet Sauvignon (75%), Merlot (15%), Syrah (10%)
2020
In 1994, after 15 years of work on mono-varietal wines, Albet i Noia launched this first blend, made out of 25 year-old vines (and more).
Cabernet Sauvignon (75%), Merlot (25%)
