Carlota is Cote’s only daughter, the soul of the project and his greatest pride.
She is already playing an active role in the winemaking.
Carlota is always released later, in very limited quantities, after 21 months of barrel ageing.
Vinification
175-180-year-old Aragonès vines with only 6.2 hectolitre hectare yields. Soil composition of lime, clay and slate.
Storage potential
Drink as from 2026
At its best between 2030 and 2036
Until: 2040
To serve
Best decant before serving in a large Bordeaux glass.
Trial analysis
Because of the density and richness of the fruit, the wine is aged for 2 x 12 months in new wooden barrels of the best origin. In the flavour profile, the wood will certainly not dominate the fruit but accomplish its task as a push-up!
