Cascorrales is one of the oldest vineyards in Ribera del Duero, planted in 1895. It is also one of Hacienda Solano’s Grand Crus, together with Peña Lobera. Cascorrales shows a slightly firmer and more rustic profile compared to the elegant Peña Lobera. The very top of the appellation.

Trial analysis
Deep red colour, clean and bright. On the nose mainly red fruit, with plenty of floral notes but here especially spiciness. In the background, hints of liquorice and cocoa. On the palate, firm tannins wrapped around the red fruit, especially wild strawberries. Nice complexity with spice well integrated into the fruit. Long finish.
